Alexandra Schwass, born in Sydney, Australia, in 1983, of Swedish-German parents, grew up in Lausanne, Switzerland, where she studied business management and obtained a Master of Science degree at HEC Lausanne. She has travelled extensively in Europe, Asia and the United States.

In 2007, she took an introduction to photography class at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Her photography focuses on themes of speed, bright colours, and silhouettes. Her work has been exhibited in Geneva (Switzerland), St.-Tropez, Megève and Lyon (France).
